Saint Gregory the Great Starts New School Year with an Online Facelift

(Chesapeake, VA) – Web Teks, a leading technology solutions provider headquartered in Chesapeake, is proud to announce the launch of a new website for Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School (SGG).  SGG, a private school located in Virginia Beach, enrolls approximately 750 students in PK through eighth grade.

With limited IT resources, SGG sought a vendor to build a website that could be easily managed in-house, allow teachers to post homework assignments and be designed to better reflect their commitment to academic excellence.

“The website had to not only serve the school as a conduit of information to the school’s current family, student body, faculty and board members, it also had to serve as a lead generator to attract new families,” state Nancy Mulholland, SGG Technology Coordinator.

To meet the challenge, Web Teks designed, developed and deployed St. Gregory’s new site utilizing Elcom’s CommunityManager.NET web content management system, a modular and upgradeable platform offering the best in editing tools, cross platform compatibility, and security measures.  Although a recent new comer to the web content management community in the U.S., CommunityManager.NET enjoys a solid reputation in its home of Australia.  Web Teks, the first U.S. firm to partner with Elcom, has been offering this powerful content management tool to its clients since early 2011.

“Our clients are raving about the flexibility and ease of use CommunityManager.NET provides them, “ stated Lisa Litwiller, Web Teks Director of Business Development.  “To date we have launched 4 sites on this platform, and have another 2 in the pipeline.”

On working with Web Teks, Mulholland commented, "Working with Web Teks to design and develop our new school website has been an amazing experience. Their creativity and design skills showcase our students and our school throughout the site. The design and implementation teams have been very helpful with our requests and questions. We had some very specific design criteria for some of our pages and they not only met our goals, they exceeded them. The entire Web Teks team has been personable, professional and responsive."
